About Us
We‘re glad that you have stopped by to learn what we’re all about. We hope you see our passion for Jesus and His gospel. He is the only reason that we do what we do — preaching, children’s ministry, student ministry, outreach, and even singing.

If you were to ask us to describe ourselves in one sentence, we would say, “We’re a gospel centered, community focused church family.”

These three elements create the DNA for us to live all of life for the glory of Jesus. As a gospel centered church, you will notice that we believe the gospel is so much more than a starting point for people. The gospel is all of life, and it shapes the very way in which we live life together with our family, friends, community, and the rest of the world. We want to view and live all of life through the gospel, which is the truth for all of us.

Through boom and bust, peace and pandemic, as conquerors in Christ, we press on.”
Judy and her husband, Bobby, retired after 15 years pastoring an English-speaking church in central Mexico, and they are excited to be in George West. Judy has played piano and organ from childhood, and leading worship is a great joy for her. Judy joined the staff as Worship Director May 2018.
Adam and his wife Olivia joined the FBC team in October of 2021 as the student minister and wife. They are very passionate about young people coming to know the full Gospel and intentionally discipling them into a missional way of life that reflects the transforming power of the Gospel.
