S.S. Groups
Our S.S. groups exist to connect people to lasting relationships, grow in truth and serve in the church and our community. Each group meets every Sunday at 9:30a.m. We invite you to find your place to belong...
Men
The Brush Country group consists of mostly retired men who seek to grow in their faith journey. Come on in and pull up a chair. We meet on the lower level.
Women
The J.O.Y. and Dorcas groups care about the conditions of their hearts as they walk through life together. They are mostly retired women that love life and one another. Get plugged in and join the J.O.Y. or Dorcas on the lower level.
The T.E.L. group has a long history of service at FBC George West. This group is acitve in contributing to others through missions and projects putting our love offerrings to work in God's kingdom; however, the most active contributions to others is a prayer ministy. Bible study is very important to the senior members, who highly value God's word in their lives. We meet in the media center, when the members are able to attend, and we welcome guests to join us!
Combined
The Young Adult group consists of individuals ranging from early twenties to mid-thirties joining in fellowship to study God’s word. Whether you are a longtime believer or a skeptic looking for answers, we graciously invite you to join us as we tackle the tough issues. We meet in behind balcony and dedicate ourselves to the study of Christian doctrines and practices, while building lifelong relationships.
The Homebuilders class is made up of couples and individuals of various ages, shapes and personalities, but we all have two things in common...we do our best to love God and love each other. We meet on the lower level and come together to share in each other’s joys and sorrows. We are laid back and relaxed as we study the Bible together and share ways to apply the lesson in today’s society. We hope that you will come and join us!
The Seekers is a group for couples and singles that have come through the journey of raising children (and some grandchildren). We study the Bible book by book and discuss how it applies to our Christian walk today. We meet on the upper level and invite you to come join us!
Our Young @ Heart group is made up of empty-nesters that walk through life together and stive to grow in their faith journey. Come be apart as we dig into universal truths for life. We meet in the basement.
